Nimepokea taarifa za maskitikokuhusu kuhukumiwa kifo kwa Mtanzania Ahamed Khalfan Ghailan,ambae amehukumiwa na mahakama ya Marekani kwa tuhuma ya kushiri katika ughaid uliotekea mwaka 1998 katika miji ya Nairobi na Dar es Salaam ,kwa wakati mmoja ,ambapo watu 224 walifariki dunia .
Kwa mjibu wa taarifa hiyo imeeleza kuwa Ghailan alishitakiwa kwa kushirikiana na kikundi cha ugaidi cha Al Qaida, kufanya mashambulizi yaliyosababisha vifo, na uhalibifu wa mali katika ublazi wa Marekani mjini Nairobi na Dar es Salaam,.
Ghailan ,alikuwa akikabiliwa na mashitaka 281 ambapo ,mahakama iliyokuwa ikisikiliza kesi hiyo ,imemtia hatiani ,Ghailani, kwa hatia moja pekee ya kupanga kuharibu mali na majengo ya serikali kati ya mashitaka 228 yaliyokuwa yakimkabili mtuhumiwa.
Mahakama hiyo iliukataa ushihidi uliokuwa umewasilishwa dhidi ya mtuhumiwa huyo kwa sababu ulikusanywa na maafisa wa ujasusi wa Marekani CIA, katika magereza yasiyo rasmi nje ya Marekani kwa njia isiyofa ikiwa ni pamoja na kumtesa ili akiri mashtaka dhidi yake na pia atoe habari zaidi mambo ambayo ni kinyume na haki za binadamu.

Uamuzi huo wa mahakama unaonekana kuwa pigo kubwa kwa utawala wa Rais Barack Obama, ambae aliapoingia madarakani aliahidi kuwafungulia mashtaka washukiwa wote wa ugaidi wanaozuiliwa katika jela la Guantanamo Bay, katika mahakama ya kiraia,ikiwa ni pamoja na kulifunga gereza hilo ambalo hadi leo ahadi hiyo haijatekelezwa.
Adhabu aliyohukumiwa mtuhumiwa ni kubwa mno tofauti na kosa lenyewe ,aidha adhabu hiyo inachukuliwa kuwa ni chuki za kidini .

The post-World War I accords and the League of Nations charter designated the area a British Mandate, except for a small area in the northwest, which was ceded to Belgium and later became Rwanda and Burundi).
British rule came to an end in 1961 after a relatively peaceful (compared with neighbouring Kenya, for instance) transition to
